In 2005, the park closed, but it was later purchased by Penny and Larry Vaughn, who have renovated the park to offer full hookups for travelers, vacationers, miners, and hunters. The park's location and amenities make it a convenient stop for those passing through the area. The Vaughns plan to add personal touches to the park as time goes on.
