About

Oscoda County Park is a public recreation facility located on the backwaters of the AuSable River, offering easy access to ORV trails and scenic views. The park features 65 modern sites and 88 rustic sites, with 30/50 amp service available. Camping cabins are also available for rent. The park has a central bathhouse with pay showers, a playground area, basketball, volleyball, and horseshoe pits. Visitors can enjoy swimming and friendly staff. The park is open from April 15 to November 30. It is part of a Consumers Energy hydroelectric dam project licensed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and is open to all members of the public without regard to race, color, religious creed, or national origin.
