About

Osage Cove is a large campground situated along the banks of Kaw Lake in north central Oklahoma, offering 97 campsites with modern amenities including electric hookups, drinking water, and flush toilets. Most campsites are shaded, providing a comfortable camping experience. The campground features three large group campsites that can accommodate up to 50 guests each, along with a boat ramp for easy lake access. Kaw Lake covers 17,000 surface acres with 168 miles of shoreline, completed in 1976, and serves as a recreational oasis for outdoor enthusiasts. The area is renowned for excellent fishing opportunities, producing some of Oklahoma's largest catfish, crappie, white bass, and walleye. Visitors can enjoy hiking on the Eagle View Hiking Trail (approximately 12 miles) and the Five Fingers Equestrian Trail, as well as hunting, boating, and wildlife viewing including migrating bald eagles during winter months.
