Oakdale Park is a historic family-friendly RV destination located in Glen Rose, Texas, proudly celebrating its 100th anniversary as the oldest RV park in Texas. Originally opened in 1925 as a campground and motor court, Oakdale is one of the only private RV parks in the country listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The park features the Oakdale Plunge, the largest swimming pool in Texas at 330,000 gallons of water. Situated across from the Big Rocks and River, Oakdale offers 120 RV spaces with full hookups, 20 tent camping spaces with electricity, 20 cabins, and two bunkhouses. The park hosts numerous events including family reunions, RV rallies, swimming parties, music concerts, and bluegrass festivals. Additional amenities include the historic Oakdale Casino (a 95-year-old event center), Sedona Grill restaurant, outdoor kitchen and pavilion, kids' dino playgrounds, laundromat, free WiFi, and a park store.
