Oak Ridge Park is located on 117 acres of wooded land with 1.75 miles of shoreline. It features 50 RV pads with water, sewer, and 20, 30, 50 amp electrical hook-ups. The park has a spacious paved parking lot and two lanes for launching your boat. Several creeks and coves surround the park where you can escape from the wind and maybe find that lunker’s hiding place. After catching fish, you can use the cleaning station to dress them so they are ready to go in the hot grease. If you don’t feel like fishing, you can hit the reservoir and take a nice boat ride where you can do a little sight seeing or bird watching, or maybe just picnic, and let the kids spend a fun day at the playground. Then if you are not ready to leave, pitch a tent in the primitive tent area and kick back around a camp fire and roast marshmallows or a hot dog. The park gate closes and is locked at 5:00 PM until 6:00 AM, but special arrangements can be made for late arrivals of registered guests.
