Oak Dell Park is located in one of the prettiest valleys in Santa Clara County, the name itself means 'Valley of Trees'. Just minutes south of San Jose's bustling environment, you'll find the peace and quiet you've been hoping to find. The campground has maintained its natural setting and has all kinds of wildlife, including turkeys, bobcats, deer, owls, and quail. Some have reported seeing coyotes and a mountain lion, although the lion was never seen. The old bandstand is still there, where the Doobie Brothers Band played concerts back in the 70's.
