Nenana RV Park & Campground is a family-owned and operated full-service campground established in 1989, located in the small Athabascan village of Nenana off the Parks Highway. Situated conveniently between Fairbanks (55 miles north) and Denali National Park (65 miles south), the campground offers a relaxing stay with easy access to both destinations. The facility features a range of accommodations from primitive tent sites to water and electric RV sites, along with on-site amenities including a dump station, propane, hot showers, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, bicycles, mini golf, and free movie rentals. Guests can explore the rich historical heritage of Nenana, including the famous Ice Classic tradition dating back to 1917, the Alaska Railroad Museum, and various local shops and eateries. The campground operates seasonally from May 15 through late September, weather permitting, and offers discounts for veterans, military personnel, and long-term stays.
