Nason Creek Campground is located approximately 19 miles north of Leavenworth, Washington, within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest and just one mile south of Lake Wenatchee State Park. Set in old growth forest amid the Cascade foothills, this popular destination offers 70 single sites and 3 double sites, all equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. The campground features flush toilets and water available in common areas. The surrounding landscape showcases stunning scenic views with high glaciated alpine peaks, valleys of old growth forest, and diverse ecosystems supporting abundant wildlife including deer, porcupine, native fish, and migratory birds. Visitors can enjoy excellent summer and early fall activities including hiking, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, and mountain biking, while winter brings opportunities for skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. The area serves as an ideal base camp for day-hikers and backpackers exploring multiple access trails.
