Muskegon State Park is home to 3 miles of breathtaking shoreline (2 miles along Lake Michigan and 1 mile on Muskegon Lake), Snug Harbor, forested dunes, two campgrounds, picnic areas, multiple trails and more. The park's popular features include the blockhouse, originally built by the CCC in the 1930s, and the accessible navigation channel walkway with two popular fishing decks. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including fishing, hiking, cross-country skiing, and luge. The park is also close to the Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park, which offers an Olympian-designed luge track, an ice-skating trail, a sledding hill, and more. A variety of local attractions are located nearby, including Michigan Adventure, downtown Muskegon, Hoffmaster State Park, and the USS Silversides Submarine Museum.
