The Murvaul RV Park is nestled in the Piney woods of Deep East Texas. The park is located near Lake Murvaul, a 3,800-acre lake with a clean swimming area, restrooms, a playground, three fishing piers, a fish cleaning house, and free boat launch ramps. The park offers seventy-five (75) shaded RV sites with full hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, and all 30/50amp service. Each RV site has a picnic table and a fire pit. A large shaded area is available for tent campers with tent sites with water/electricity hookup and an extended area for primitive camping. The park is surrounded by the Sabine River basin in Panola County, with a local terrain that is flat and surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses. Visitors can expect to enjoy fishing, boating, and other recreational activities on the lake. The park is also close to the city of Carthage, with amenities and attractions available nearby.
