Mule Barn Camp

Port Townsend, Washington

About

The Mule Barn Camp is located at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Port Townsend, Washington. It is an alternative camping spot for those who don't have any other choice, such as opting for the dorms or camping in the Fort Worden campground. The camp has its own segregated restrooms with four flush toilets and four showers on each side, as well as electricity for charging electronic devices. There is enough space to accommodate all campers, and parking is included with no limits on the number of cars. The camp is about half a mile from Fort Worden's west gate. Dogs are welcome, but must be tethered at all times. The camp has a quiet area for those campers that must get some sleep to attend FT classes, and quiet time is between 10pm and 8am. Propane campfires are allowed, but wood campfires and generators are not. The camp is an affordable option for those attending the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes, and is a great place to relax, have fun, and enjoy music.
