This secluded, rustic campground is on the peaceful shores of Mud Lake, offering excellent paddling, fishing, and hiking. A carry-in boat launch provides easy access to the lake. The campground has eight large, flat campsites situated in a loop, with most sites accommodating a 30-foot trailer and site #7 being a pull-through site. Direct access to the Green Pine Lake Pathway is available on the east side of the campground. The campground is located in Clare County, 11 miles east of Evart via US-10, M-66, 7 Mile Road, and Brown Road. It's open all year, with vault toilets, potable water, and no electrical hookups. Overnight fees and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk.
