About

Mount Moriah Christian Camp is a 110-acre ministry camp established by Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee, located in the beautiful foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, just four miles from the church and college campuses. The camp serves young people in grades 4-12 with a mission to inspire campers to "Take the High Road" and strengthen their faith in Christ. Daily activities include Bible devotions, scripture memorization, powerful preaching under an open-air tabernacle, and evening testimony services. Beyond spiritual instruction, campers enjoy competitive games, swimming, a waterslide, zipline activities, and group skits in a distraction-free environment designed to foster spiritual growth and lasting friendships. The camp also offers High Adventure options featuring whitewater rafting on the Nantahala River, mountain biking in Virginia, and tubing in the Great Smoky Mountains for those seeking additional outdoor experiences.
