Campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and all campers must self-register and pay the required fee. The park also has a group campground, an arboretum, and a butterfly garden. Visitors can enjoy extensive trail systems, groomed ski trails, picnic areas, a playground, prairies, and wetlands. The park is open from April 15 to October 15, depending on ground conditions.
