About
The Deschutes National Forest offers a variety of recreation opportunities, including biking, climbing and caving, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, hunting and shooting, off-highway vehicles, other activities, outdoor science and learning, picnicking, scenic drives, water activities, and winter sports. The forest is conducting projects to improve access, sustainability, and safety to treasured places across Central Oregon, funded by the Great American Outdoors Act. The forest is managed by the USDA Forest Service.
