Whether you’re in Huron for the South Dakota State Fair or are on a leisurely jaunt to our welcoming community, you’ll find a wide variety of campgrounds and campsites where you can enjoy the scenic surroundings that make our town feel like home, no matter where you’re from. We have ample camping opportunities to suit your needs next time you’re in the area! The Memorial Park Campground is located along the James River, close to the golf course, beach, mini-golf, and paddle boats at Ravine Lake. It has 24 sites with full hookups, 49 sites for tent camping, showers, a dump station, tables, grills, and lake and river fishing access. The South Dakota State Fairgrounds has over 1,200 camping sites with electrical and water hookups and 50 sites with full hookups. Red Wilk Campground offers 46 camping spots with full hookups, including water, sewer, electric, garbage, Wi-Fi, and laundry. Traveler Motel & Campground has 25 camping spots with electrical hookups and a water filling station.
