Originally settled in the 1860s by the Wells family, the property serves as a tangible link to Florida's frontier days and offers year-round horse camping and trail riding. The farm features 35 miles of marked trails across approximately 3,500 acres, with scenic canopy lanes winding through the Withlacoochee flood plain past ancient sinkholes and down to the pristine Withlacoochee River. Visitors can explore historic structures including the original Wells log cabin (circa 1870), a pioneer cemetery, and the old McCulley Farmhouse built around 1900.
