About
Mantrap Lake Campground and Day-Use Area is a primitive campground located adjacent to the public landing. The campsites are designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper, consisting of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. The campground is a great spot for fishing, swimming, and nature trails, with Mantrap Lake being a designated muskie lake. The campground is managed by Itasca State Park and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
