Manchester State Park is a park on the Mendocino Coast featuring a beach, sand dunes, and flat grasslands. It has nearly 18,000 feet of ocean frontage with a five-mile stretch of gentle, sandy beach. The park is known for excellent steelhead fishing in its two streams, Brush Creek and Alder Creek. The park surrounds the town of Manchester and has a variety of camping options, including environmental camp sites, family campsites, group campsites, hike or bike campsites, primitive camping, and RV access. The park also offers other facilities such as parking, restrooms, drinking water, boating, picnic areas, fishing, scuba diving/snorkeling, beach area, nature and wildlife viewing, windsurfing/surfing, and geocaching.
