The campground offers great river access, making it a popular spot for campers. Activities such as tubing and fishing are very popular, and several hiking and mountain biking trails begin in the area. The campground is heavily wooded with mostly cottonwood trees and other river-bottom types of vegetation. The South Fork of Ogden River flows adjacent to the campground, providing a serene and natural environment.
