About

Madison Campground is named for its proximity to the Madison River, which runs through the area in a lush mountain setting rich in wildlife. The area is known for its great fishing and convenient location to Old Faithful and the Upper, Midway, and Lower Geyser Basins. Tent, RV, ADA, and combination RV/tent sites are available with a maximum length for RV’s of 40 feet. Comfort stations with men’s and women’s bathrooms, flush toilets, and dishwashing areas are conveniently located in each loop. The campground also features a dump station, a recycling area, and a small mercantile store that offers camping items, snacks, sundries, and souvenirs.
