Luby Bay Campground is located on the western shores of Priest Lake in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, near Lamb Creek. The campground features densely wooded, secluded sites shaded by hemlock and cedar at an elevation of 2,500 feet, offering easy access to stunning views of the Selkirk Mountains. The facility is divided into upper and lower sections, with the lower area providing waterfront site options and a large day-use area suitable for picnics and group functions. Visitors can enjoy a variety of water recreation activities including kayaking, canoeing, and boating on Priest Lake and the scenic 3.5-mile thoroughfare to Upper Priest Lake. The campground serves as an excellent base for fishing, swimming, wildlife viewing, and hiking, including the popular 8-mile Beach Trail that loops around the southern portion of Priest Lake.
