Lost Prairie Group Site is a group site located in the Willamette National Forest, Cascades, at an elevation of 3600 feet. It was originally a campground converted to a group site with a 75-person capacity limit. The site features 10 individual campsites, with Sites #1-4 being back-in, paved surface sites suitable for tents and trailers up to 42 feet long. Sites #5-10 are walk-in sites less than 60 feet from the main area, still suitable for tents. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. A paved parking area can accommodate up to 6 RVs, and there are two double vault toilets, one behind site #1 and an accessible one near the parking area. Drinking water is available from a handpump well at the front of the campground. The site is located along the Over the Rivers and Through the Woods Scenic Byway and is close to numerous trails and lakes, including the McKenzie River National Scenic Trail and Clear Lake. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance online or by calling 877-444-6777.
