Long Branch Recreation Area is a scenic campground located below Center Hill Dam on the Caney Fork River in central Tennessee's Highland Rim region. The campground sits adjacent to Center Hill Lake, which stretches 64 miles upstream and features 415 miles of forested shoreline. Long Branch offers 60 campsites with water and 50-amp electric hookups, along with amenities including flush toilets, showers, a boat ramp, fish cleaning station, and playground. The area is surrounded by lush mixed hardwood forests and is known for excellent trophy trout fishing on the Caney Fork River, which is stocked with rainbow and brown trout. Visitors enjoy diverse recreational activities including boating, water skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking, with the nearby Buffalo Valley Nature Trail providing access to the river and wildlife viewing opportunities. Edgar Evins State Park is located just five minutes away on the lake shore.
