Built in 1880, the farmhouse at Loma Linda was originally owned by the Walker family and is still known by locals as the old Walker farm. Acquired by the present owners in 2015, the old Walker farm has been slowly transformed into an outdoor event space and destination for people seeking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience the magic of the Appalachian Mountains. Ever a work in progress, Loma Linda Resort features rustic accommodations in the original farmhouse and carriage house as well as RV sites and tent camping sites throughout the property. Whether it’s a unique stay in a 140+ year old Appalachian farmhouse you’re seeking, tent camping under the stars or relaxing in your own RV in our secluded creek front valley, Loma Linda just might be the perfect destination for you and your family. Currently under construction, we hope to have at least 15 full service RV campsites completed in 2023 with over 45 campsites completed in 2024.
