Little Rock Pond Shelter is a post and beam structure built in 2010 as part of a consolidation effort to replace two older shelters. It is located near a pond and offers tenting platforms and a group tenting area. The shelter is maintained by a caretaker and fees are collected for its use. The area has a rich history, with youth archeology camps uncovering information on the Abenaki's ancestors. The shelter is part of the Long Trail System and is managed by the Green Mountain Club, Burlington Section. Visitors can expect a secluded and natural setting with opportunities for camping and outdoor activities.
