Little Lake State Forest Campground is a rustic campground situated on the east side of Little Lake, shaded by upland hardwoods and lowland conifers. The campground has 16 sites for tent, small trailer, and large trailer use, with three pull-through sites suitable for large trailers. The campground offers opportunities for fishing and paddling, and is located 5 miles east of Gwinn via M-35 South and Little Lake Road. The campground is open all year, but the campground and seasonal roads are not plowed. Potable water is available via a well-hand pump, and vault toilets are provided. The campground is a 'carry-in, carry-out' unit, and trash barrels are not provided. Overnight fees and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground.
