Limekiln State Park features breathtaking views of the rugged Big Sur Coast, the beauty of the redwoods, the cultural history of limekilns, and a nearly 100-foot waterfall that splashes down a rock face. The park is currently open for Day Use activities only, with the campground remaining closed. The park fee details include cash-only day-use fees of $10 per vehicle, allowing access to other California State Parks until closing on the day of purchase. Senior and disabled discounts are available, while Golden Bear Pass Holders and Distinguished Veterans Pass Holders receive free entry. The park is open from 8:00 am to sunset, with the entrance gate closing at sunset.
