Lightfoot Landing is a smaller, quieter campground located on Pomme de Terre Lake, known as the 'Gem of the Ozarks.' The lake spans 7,790 surface acres with 113 miles of shoreline and is fed by the Pomme de Terre River and Lindley Creek. The campground offers a peaceful setting ideal for boating, fishing, canoeing, power boating, and water skiing. Pomme de Terre Lake is renowned for having one of the highest catch ratios in the country, with species including bass, catfish, walleye, crappie, and muskie, which is stocked each fall. Lightfoot Landing provides 35 sites with electric and water hookups, a shower house, boat ramp with courtesy dock, dump station, playground, horseshoe pits, and a picnic shelter, making it an excellent destination for water recreation and outdoor activities.
