Leidy Lake Campground is nestled on 600 acres, near Colon, in northeast St. Joseph County, Michigan. The property surrounding the campground is private and secluded. Across the lake is the Leidy Lake State Game area. The campground features lakefront sites as well as sites around the lagoon, with direct channel access to the lake, and a pond, with its own private island. Most campsites enjoy the shade from the many mature trees throughout the campground. We also offer 2 rustic log cabins for your enjoyment. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms with a full-size bed in each room, bathroom with a shower, full kitchen, living room with a TV, open ceilings, boat and dock, and a screened porch which has a beautiful view of the lake where you can sit in the evenings and watch the spectacular sunsets. For the avid fisherman, this lake is the place to be. Fish of many species abound. Colon is the 'Magic Capital of the World' and holds an annual magic festival the first week of August. Magicians from around the world attend this festival, some even camp with us.
