Lawler Lodge is a group camping facility located 8 miles north of Idyllwild on Highway 243 at an elevation of 5,300 feet. It was built in 1918 and offers a unique retreat or event space for groups. The lodge features restrooms, showers, a fireplace, commercial kitchen, and a large deck overlooking the San Jacinto River. It can accommodate 58 persons with the bunks provided. The lodge is open year-round and offers a serene setting amidst the beautiful San Jacinto mountain landscape. Firewood can be obtained with advanced notice to the Ranger for $8 per bundle. Please note that fire restrictions can be imposed at any time.
