The park has 1 open shelter, 29 campsites with water and electric, a shower house, fishing (electric motor only), canoeing, and kayaking. The park is right across the lake from the Humeston Golf Club. Lakeside Park is open year-round to foot traffic, but closes to camping and vehicle traffic on November 1 and reopens April 1.
