Located in Topeka, Kansas, at Lake Shawnee, this campground offers 114 campsites with various amenities. Many sites offer great views of the lake. Shopping, restaurants, and Topeka attractions are within a short drive. A 7-mile paved trail surrounds the entire lake for walking or biking. The campground is open year-round, but has an off-season. During the on-season, sites have full service hook-ups, including water, sewer, 50 amp and 30 amp electric. Tent-only sites are also available. A natural lake cove (beach) is open to registered campers, but there is no lifeguard on staff. A playground is located near the north bath house, and the north bath house, playground, and swim beach are closed during the off-season.
