Lake Jackson RV Park at Florala is a compact 40-acre campground stretching along the shores of Alabama's only natural lake, the beautiful 500-acre Lake Jackson. Situated on the border between Alabama and Florida, this modern lakeside park offers visitors access to one of the cleanest and clearest bodies of water in Alabama, ideal for swimming, boating, fishing, water skiing, and personal watercraft activities. The park features walking trails, a bike path, a scenic picnic area, and serves as a stop on Alabama's Wiregrass birding trail where waterfowl, songbirds, raptors including osprey and Bald eagles are commonly sighted. The park is also home to the Rodney J. Evans Conference Center and Amphitheater, a 10,000 square foot multi-use facility, and connects via walking trail to the Florala City Wetlands Park with its elevated platform meandering under a wetland canopy. The nearby towns of Florala, Andalusia, and Opp offer antique shops, Victorian mansions, art galleries, and Southern-style restaurants.
