This rustic trail camp offers group camping on the shores of Lake Dubonnet, nestled among towering pines. Designed primarily for equestrian campers on the Shore-to-Shore Trail, this camp welcomes groups of up to 200 people with tents and trailers. The campground is conveniently located near the Lake Dubonnet State Forest Campground, approximately 5 miles northwest of Interlochen. This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling. Learn more about hunting. The campground is maintained with the help of the Michigan Trail Riders Association. Amenities include a submersible pump requiring a 5,000-watt generator.
