Lake Chippewa Campground is a scenic lakeshore campground located on an island in the heart of Wisconsin's Northwoods near Hayward. Set where the water meets the trees, this campground offers direct lake access with the ability to beach boats or canoes right outside your RV's door. The facility features unobstructed water views, incredible seasonal foliage, and a sandy beach area for families. Visitors can enjoy fishing on Lake Chippewa, water activities, and the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The campground has recently undergone improvements including a new bathhouse with cathedral ceilings and private shower stalls, as well as enhanced campsites with better access and landscaping. The campground operates seasonally from May 1 through November 1.
