About
The Kickapoo Valley Reserve offers primitive camping at 33 sites, with vehicle-accessible sites available for $20/night and canoe-accessible sites available for $15/night. All campers must register and obtain camping permits prior to setting up camp. Sites are primitive and do not have water or toilet facilities, but potable water and bathrooms are available at the Visitor Center. The Reserve is located in the ancestral homelands of the Hoocąk Nation and recognizes the sovereignty of the Hoocąk and other First Nations. Visitors are asked to respect the serenity of the area, keep noise to a minimum, and observe quiet hours after 10pm. The Reserve is a beautiful place to visit, with opportunities for hiking, canoeing, and fishing.
