About
The Kickapoo Valley Reserve offers primitive camping at 33 sites, accessible via trail, canoe, or bike. Sites are $20/night for vehicle-accessible and $15/night for canoe-accessible, hike-in, bike-in, or horseback-accessible. Campers must register and obtain permits prior to setting up camp. The Reserve has a Visitor Center with potable water and bathrooms, as well as a Village of La Farge Campground. River access sites are challenging and require hauling gear up to 75 yards up hill. The Reserve asks visitors to follow Leave No Trace principles, including packing out all waste and not burning trash or certain materials.
