Kingfisher Campground is located in the Mt. Hood National Forest. Dispersed camping, or camping outside of designated campgrounds, is a great way to enjoy the peace and solitude of the Forest. The Barlow Ranger District is located east of the Cascades crest and encompasses about 280,000 acres. Recreation opportunities include biking, climbing and caving, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, off-highway vehicles (OHV), water activities, and winter sports.
