Kettle Falls Locust Grove Group Site is a group camping facility located on the northern section of Lake Roosevelt, part of the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area managed by the National Park Service. Situated just 0.25 miles from the main Kettle Falls Campground with its multi-lane boat launch, this facility is ideal for groups of boaters, fishermen, and water sports enthusiasts. The two spacious group sites are nestled within a grove of locust trees and overlook Lake Roosevelt, a 130-mile lake on the Columbia River created by the Grand Coulee Dam. The area is rich in history, featuring nearby attractions such as St. Paul's Mission and historic sites related to American Indian heritage and the fur trade. Lake Roosevelt offers abundant wildlife viewing opportunities including moose, elk, deer, and bald eagles, along with excellent fishing for walleye, bass, rainbow trout, salmon, and sturgeon.
