The 1,500 square-foot cabin accommodates up to 8 people and features two bedrooms, one full bathroom, two living rooms, and a fully-equipped kitchen, along with a large deck overlooking a creek. The cabin is nestled in the heart of the Santa Rita Mountains, an area renowned as a "sky island" that spans four life zones and supports abundant wildlife including deer, wild turkeys, black bears, and sixteen species of bats. The location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, offering access to well-known Madera Canyon hiking trails ranging from paved accessible paths to strenuous routes up 9,453-foot Mt. Wrightson, and is recognized as one of the country's premier birding destinations with over 256 documented bird species. Despite its remote and peaceful setting, the cabin is conveniently located less than an hour from Tucson and within easy reach of numerous regional attractions.
