Ken's Lake Campground is a BLM-managed recreation area located 10 miles south of Moab, Utah, at 5,085 feet elevation. The campground surrounds Ken's Lake, a man-made reservoir created in 1981 as part of the Mill Creek Project, offering stunning views of red rock fins, the La Sal Mountains, and the Moab Rim. The facility comprises two loops: Loop A, popular with large RVs and motorhomes, operates by reservation only through Recreation.gov; and Loop B, open year-round with smaller sites shaded by juniper and cottonwood trees, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each site includes a gravel parking pad, picnic table, and fire ring with vault toilet access, though there is no drinking water or electrical hookups. The area is a hub for outdoor recreation, featuring over 3 miles of hiking and equestrian trails, non-motorized boating, fishing, and access to the Steel Bender Jeep Safari Route for off-highway vehicle enthusiasts.
