Located just a few miles from Independence in the Heart of Sugar Creek, J46 Youth Ranch is a 53-acre wilderness area available for use by scout troops, wards, and families for campouts, hikes, fishing, or other outdoor activities. The ranch offers a nominal cost per use or an annual cost for unlimited use. It features beautiful wilderness, miles of trails, and opportunities for boating, fishing, and exploring. The venue has been used by various groups, including youth groups, churches, scout troops, families, and organizations, for primitive camping.
