The Independence RV Campground is located along Hwy 150 in Independence, Iowa. The campground season runs from March 1st to November 15th. Reservations can be made by calling the RV Park Host at 319-440-0472 during the season or by calling the Independence Parks & Recreation Department at 319-334-6711 through the off-season. The campground is conveniently located near the Independence Aquatic Center, Wapsipinicon River access for canoes, kayaks, and fishing, public 18 hole golf course, 18 hole disc golf course, open air party shelter with electricity, community orchard/ garden, and a variety of restaurants, recreation facilities, and local shops within the community. The campground amenities include shower/restroom facilities, community picnic shelter with electricity, concrete walking/biking trail, garbage dumpster, Independence Public Little Free Library, 2-5 year old playground, swings, and 42 sites with WiFi access, sewer, water, electricity, garbage, a picnic table, and a fire ring. Some sites also have 50 amp service.
