Camping at Devil's Lake State Park is in high demand, especially on weekends and holidays, and campsites often book well in advance. This page provides current campground information, reservation details, and practical guidance to help you plan your stay. The park has 423 individual campsites spread across three campgrounds, accommodating everything from small family stays to larger group outings. All campsites must be reserved in advance. There are no first-come, first-served sites. The park also offers nine group campsites near the south shore, with capacity for up to 240 campers total. These are well-suited for scout trips, reunions, and large gatherings, and typically book early. Winter camping is available at Quartzite Campground, though services are limited. Potable water, flush toilets, and showers are not available during the off-season. The other two campgrounds remain closed until Memorial Day weekend. None of the campsites are located directly on the lake. All campgrounds are within walking or short driving distance of the shoreline, but there is no lakeside camping at Devil’s Lake State Park.
