The property has access to Laughery Creek, which offers opportunities for tubing, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. The campground also features a shower house, restrooms, and laundry facilities. The surrounding area is convenient for families, with the Friendship Tavern and grocery store just one block away. The campground is open for camping, and visitors can also enjoy the event center, Hudson Hall, which can be used for weddings, parties, and other events. Twice a year, the campground hosts an open-air flea market with vendors from across the United States. The National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association also holds shooting events during this time.
