This secluded, rustic campground is home to 41 campsites near the Gladwin Field Trail Area. The campground is split into two loops. The area offers excellent fishing, hiking and paddling opportunities. There is trail access to the nearby Trout Lake Pathway, which is a beautiful 2.8-mile loop. The campground neighbors Trout Lake State Forest Campground to the north. The rustic campgrounds offer stunning river and lakefront settings, perfect for fishing, boating, and paddling. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with vault toilets, potable water from a hand-pump well, and no electrical available. Overnight fees and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay, with one camping unit and six people allowed per site.
