Houghton Lake Travel Park Campground is a quiet, friendly, family-oriented camping park located in Michigan's North Country, just down the road from Houghton Lake, the largest inland lake in Michigan. The park features large pull-through RV sites with full hookups, a primitive tenting area, and cabin accommodations. Amenities include clean newly-renovated bathrooms with hot showers, laundry facilities, a heated swimming pool maintained at 80 degrees, playground with a barefoot sand volleyball court, shuffleboard courts, game room with air hockey, on-site store, and coffee shop serving hand-dipped Hudsonville Ice Cream. The campground is committed to promoting family activities and creating a safe, welcoming environment for all ages, with Sunday morning worship services and occasional Saturday evening hymn-sings. Weekend entertainment includes a train ride for kids with popcorn afterwards.
