About
Visitors may soak in a mineral pool fed from six hot springs in this park amid alpine meadows and pine forests on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada. Located four miles west of Markleeville, at the end of Hot Springs Road, the park is in an alpine meadow at 5,900 feet surrounded by peaks that just top 10,000 feet. Day use and entry fees apply, with special rates for peak season, high demand holiday periods, and weekends. The park offers various facilities, including family campsites, hike or bike campsites, RV access, parking, restrooms, showers, drinking water, picnic areas, fishing, interpretive exhibits, swimming, nature and wildlife viewing, and geocaching.
