Hopewell RV Park
Drakesboro, Kentucky
About
Welcome to Drakesboro! Nestled in the hills of western Kentucky, the home of bluegrass music, we are a quiet, family owned RV park and campground. Whether you are just passing through, here for a family vacation, a hunting trip or working on contract with a local company, we welcome your stay. We offer long term stays to those who are providing labor at one of our area businesses such as the local TVA Paradise power plant, Logan Aluminum, or other traveling workers. For traveling families, the Muhlenberg County Schools does offer school bus service to the campground. While in the area, please be sure to check out some of the area’s natural beauty and charm at places such as the Peabody Wildlife Management Area, the historic town of Rochester and the John Prine Memorial Park at the Rochester Dam. Visit one of the many music venues and historic areas such as Bill Monroe’s Rosine, Beaver Dam’s amphitheater, downtown Central City’s Music Museum and Kentucky Motorsports Museum, Everly Brothers highway, Merle Travis Music Center and Drakesboro’s own Four Legends Fountain and Memorial Park. Also visit historic downtown Greenville and explore the shops and restaurants as you take in the beauty of the majestic Muhlenberg County Courthouse. How many bronze sculptures can you find near downtown? There are many, and can be found in unexpected places. How many are of children playing? Our family consists of Carl and Janet, who you will see at the campground frequently, and Molly and John, the kids who help maintain the property and business. We are all happy to meet you and hope to make your stay a pleasant one.
